This Privacy Policy explains what data Ratatron collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Ratatron is a hands-free AI cooking assistant. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the app.
What data does Ratatron collect?
Ratatron collects the recipes you import or create, basic account information (such as your email if you sign in), and anonymous usage analytics that help us improve the app. We do not sell your personal data.
How are my camera and microphone used?
Your camera and microphone are used only during an active cooking session. Wake-word detection runs on your device. Audio sent for transcription is processed to understand your command and then discarded immediately — voice and camera streams are never stored.
What is stored, and for how long?
Recipes you import are saved to your account so you can return to them. Voice and camera streams are not stored at any point. Analytics are aggregated and anonymised. You can request deletion of your account data at any time by emailing us.
Who do we share data with?
We share data only with the service providers required to operate Ratatron (for example, hosting, transcription, and analytics), and only to the extent needed to deliver the feature you are using. We do not share your data for advertising.
Your choices and contact
You can stop a cooking session at any time to end camera and microphone access. To request access to, or deletion of, your data, email info@apinference.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
