Method

    Gather ingredients: 50 g fresh basil leaves, 60 ml extra-virgin olive oil, 30 g pine nuts, 2 cloves garlic, 30 g grated parmesan cheese, 30 g grated pecorino romano cheese, 1 g salt. Tools needed: blender, rubber spatula, small bowl.

    Place basil, olive oil, pine nuts, and garlic in blender. Blend until a paste forms, stopping to scrape down sides as needed.
