Ingredients
- • 22 ml simple syrup
- • 3 sprigs mint
- • 60 ml rum
- • 22 ml lime juice
- • 200 g ice
- • 60 ml club soda

Gather ingredients: 22 ml simple syrup, 3 sprigs mint, 60 ml rum, 22 ml lime juice, 200 g ice, 60 ml club soda. Tools needed: cocktail shaker, muddler, Hawthorne strainer, Collins glass, jigger.

Place 22 ml simple syrup and 2 sprigs of mint into the cocktail shaker and muddle gently.

Add 60 ml rum and 22 ml lime juice to the shaker. Fill with 100 g ice.

Cover and shake vigorously for 20 seconds until the outside of the shaker is very cold.

Fill a tall Collins glass with 100 g fresh ice. Strain the cocktail through a Hawthorne strainer into the glass.

Top with 60 ml club soda and garnish with 1 sprig of mint.
