Ingredients

  • 30 ml lime juice
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 120 g crushed ice
  • 10 mint leaves
  • 60 ml rum
  • 60 ml club soda
  • 2 mint sprigs

Method

    Gather ingredients: 30 ml lime juice, 2 tsp sugar, 120 g crushed ice, 10 mint leaves, 60 ml rum, 60 ml club soda, 2 mint sprigs. Tools needed: 300 ml highball glass, bar spoon, tall straw.

    Pour lime juice and sugar into the glass and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

    Add 60 g of crushed ice to the glass.

    Rub mint leaves over the rim of the glass, tear them in half, and add them to the glass.

    Gently stir the mixture for 15 seconds.

    Add the rum, remaining 60 g of crushed ice, and club soda to the glass.

    Gently stir the cocktail for 5 seconds to combine.

    Tuck mint sprigs into the top of the ice and insert a tall straw.
