
Basic Crepes
A vegetarian French dessert. Ready in about 1 hour 20 minutes, serves 4.

Ingredients
- • 2 large eggs
- • 240 ml milk
- • 1 tbsp sugar
- • 1 tsp vanilla extract
- • 125 g flour
- • 1 pinch salt
- • 15 g butter
- • 100 ml whipped cream
- • 100 ml jam
Method

Gather ingredients: 2 large eggs, 240 ml milk, 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 125 g flour, 1 pinch salt, 15 g butter, 100 ml whipped cream, 100 ml jam. Tools needed: blender, medium nonstick skillet, whisk, pastry brush, 60 ml ladle, spatula, plate, aluminum foil.

Blend eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla in a blender until smooth and frothy.

Add flour and salt to the blender and blend just to combine.

Cover batter and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

Heat skillet over medium-high heat and brush with butter.

Ladle 60 ml batter into skillet, swirl to coat, and cook for 3 minutes until bubbles form and edges are golden.

Flip crepe and cook for 15 seconds until brown spots appear, then transfer to a plate and tent with foil.

Repeat cooking process with remaining batter and butter.

Serve crepes with whipped cream and jam.
