- • 15 ml milk
- • 5 g butter
- • 30 g shredded cheese
Method
- 1
Gather ingredients: 1 large egg, 15 ml milk, 5 g butter, 30 g shredded cheese. Tools needed: small bowl, fork, 20 cm non-stick omelette pan, spatula.
- 2
Whisk the egg and milk in a bowl with a fork until thoroughly combined.
- 3
Melt butter in the pan over medium heat for 30 seconds until it stops bubbling but before it browns.

Pour in the egg mixture tilting the pan to spread it evenly. Let firm for 10 seconds, then use a spatula to push edges toward the center, allowing liquid to flow into the gaps.

Continue to cook for 60 seconds until the mixture holds together without browning the underside.
- 6
Sprinkle the top with shredded cheese and use a spatula to fold the omelette in half.
- 7
Cook for 30 seconds until thoroughly cooked through.
- 8
Allow to cool slightly, cut into bite size pieces, and serve.
