
BBQ Chicken Legs

Ingredients
- • 1200 g chicken legs
- • 240 ml tomato ketchup
- • 60 ml apple cider vinegar
- • 50 g brown sugar
- • 15 ml Worcestershire sauce
- • 1 tsp smoked paprika
- • 1 tsp garlic powder
- • 1 tsp salt
- • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Gather ingredients: 1200 g chicken legs, 240 ml tomato ketchup, 60 ml apple cider vinegar, 50 g brown sugar, 15 ml Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp smoked paprika, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp salt, 0.5 tsp black pepper. Tools needed: small saucepan, whisk, airtight container, mixing bowl, baking sheet, foil, baking rack, pastry brush.

In a small saucepan over medium heat (190 C), stir together ketchup, vinegar, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, garlic powder, and pepper.

Bring to a boil while stirring, then reduce heat and simmer for 180 seconds until thickened.

Preheat oven to 190 C.

Place chicken in bowl, sprinkle with salt, add 120 ml of the cooled BBQ sauce, and coat. Marinate in fridge for 1800 seconds.

Place chicken on baking rack over foil-lined sheet, baste with extra sauce, and roast for 2700 seconds.
